Ever had those days that when you buy a pet that you end up getting alot of problems? Well Billy Peltzer gets that problem 100 fold! One day his father went to China Town and bought him a present for Christmas. The present was a mogwai named Gizmo and with Gizmo were three important rules:

#1. Do not get him wet in water.

#2. Do not have him around bright light.

And #3: No matter how much he begs and cries, Never ever feed him after midnight...

Billy accidently breaks those rules and he ends up getting into alot of trouble...

In the second movie, Gizmo gets returned to the shop in China Town. But he runs away after his home gets destoryed and his owner at the shop dies. And then when he gets into the building where Billy now works at, the same trouble starts again....
